Short Review
This work by Luigi Ontani is doubly significant of Ontani's work as it is a ceramic with a large pure gold insert and, as the title says, it is a purely oriental shoe, that Orient that Ontani particularly loves and where he spends long periods of work which he divides between india and indonesia, especially Bali. Like all Ontani's ceramics, this one too is particularly refined in the choice of color and gilding, a beautiful and fascinating work that immerses us in the oriental world full of sensual suggestions.
