Due linee rosse (Two red lines)

Short Review

Two horizontal red lines divide this work by Giorgio Griffa into three fields. The part between the two lines contains small salmon-colored signs that give the idea of a road pavement. At the top there are large pink brush strokes while at the bottom there are small, light blue brush strokes stacked together. The complex gives the idea of an urban agglomeration with new buildings in the upper part and an ancient neighborhood, like a historic center, in the lower part.
