Work on paper by Mimmo Rotella characterized by the frottage technique, one of the techniques that artists loved to experiment in the 70s. However, it is not clear what procedure was used by Rotella, which however is not the classic "frottage", i.e. the one obtained by superimposing a sheet of paper on an object and scraping the sheet in correspondence with the object with a pencil.
