This work on cardboard by Fausto Melotti is rich in techniques. In fact, on the cardboard Melotti spreads a thin layer of chalk, then performs some chalk castings tilted downwards, on the right at the top draws a figure using a pancil, pencil lines are drawn to the left of the work. Melotti enriches the representation with interventions of guauche, pigments and porpoin that replaces gold. In particular, we know that Melotti often uses gold in his sculptures, which in this case is replaced by porpoin. It is therefore a very rich work of special interventions, contrary to the sculptures that are generally essential in their building elements.
