This is a small multiple by Enrico Castellani that we preferred to include among the unique works given the rarity of this type of works. Castellani performs this chalcography on handmade sheets of paper and then with fringed and uneven edges. The surface of the paper is silky to the touch and not as smooth and impalpable as industrial papers. Paper processed in this way gives the work the charm of handcrafted things where human intervention is predominant. We also reproduced the work in its frame which is carved and gilded by hand.
