A remarkable single-piece ceramic by Luigi Ontani depicting the artist disguised as Napoleon in the guise of a centaur. The work is of considerable size, over two meters high, and dates back to 2003. Since it cannot pass through the door of Ontani's studio, it is currently stored in a restorer's studio, located a few steps away.

The work has been featured in the following exhibitions:

1) NapoLeonCentAurOntano, Rome, Napoleonic Museum, from May 7 to August 31, 2003

2) Luigi Ontani - GENTHARA, Museum of Contemporary Art Ghent, from October 12, 2003 to January 4, 2004

3) Faenza. On loan to the MIC, International Museum of Ceramics from 2004 to 2009

4) Naples - Capodimonte, January 2010

5) Faenza. On loan to the MIC, International Museum of Ceramics from 2010 to 2023

6) Turin, GAM, Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art from 2023 to 2025
